A bathtub (bath tub or tub) is a plumbing fixture used for bathing. Most modern bathtubs are acrylic bathtub or fiberglass bathtub, but alternatives are available in enamel bathtub or cast iron bathtub, and occasionally wooden bathtub. A bathtub is usually placed in a bathroom either as a stand-alone bathroom product or in conjunction with a shower.
